One of the precious things that we have in our life is Family. We could not live without them, Family stick together in anything that came along through our daily life. A family is the most important thing we have and we should treasure, love and care for it.
Filipino people are not shy in what they feel or what they want to do.They are expressive, joyful, down to earth person and easy to be with. That’s the attitude they have because their Family reminds the younger one to be respectful.
Whatever we believe it is because of the way our Family raises up. They influence as through the way of their living, having a healthy life means we are aware of the things we eat, what we use and we do to our living things.Things we do to our country like improper disposal of solid and toxic waste. Also, overpopulation is one of the big issues that the Philippine Government faces today. It affects badly to our environment if we are overpopulated. Overpopulated means a lot to Filipino people because there are a tendency that even the water we drink will lessen, the air we breath would be populated if we cannot manage the growth of each member of the family. If we have knowledge on how we can help to save our environment we should start now, to have a good environment is good for living things same as polluted environment is very harmful to living things.
Environment means the sum total of all surroundings of a living organism, including natural forces and other living things which provide conditions for development and growth as well as danger and damage.
If we help each other the result will improve our economy. Why? Because helping each other with the help and support of our family will cause a high quality of our product. For example, one family have their own business, if each member of the family help it could be done easy and fast. Filipino are hardworking, helpful and patient. Willing to learn and willing to wait for the good result in what they doing. Our economy will grow high and we can contribute the increase of demand to the country if we Filipino cooperate to each other. Whether we are family by blood or not we should stick to each other to help our country for our own good.
Economy is the organized system of human activity involved in the production, consumption, exchange and distribution of goods and services.
We all know that Family is one of the major roles in our life. If we have doubt, trouble, fear or insecure, a family is always there. To hold you, take care of you, love you, give you all you need and protect you. Even in you darkness day, they are there for you. A family never give up to support you. Family is the pillars of the next generation, trust, sacrifices, and hope. It helps to carry the culture to the next generation. Everyone protect their family from any harm or danger. That called love to a family. A family gives you joy in many aspects, it helps you improve in whatever you want to be, it helps you to become a better person. Family is a bond, a long lasting relationship to hold each other. It teaches you the value of family bonding in the right manner. Understanding, acceptance, belonging, and security all enclosed together in form of family. It helps you to learn the value of belief, culture, traditions and every little matter that concern to us. A strong foundation of any individual comes from being with a supportive family.
Filipinos cherish their family so much, love their children and love to their parents. They also love their grandparents, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, etc. Even our friends, co-worker, neighbors and friends of our friends we treat them like our own family.
Being a part of a blessed family is one of the greatest gifts that God gave to me. I may not be rich in material things but I can say that I am rich with love to my family. I am nothing without my parents, They teach me how to be a good person, to respect other, to be strong, to understand the things that I don’t know. They send me to school, give everything they can without hesitation. They love us unconditionally. My family taught me to value the importance of family bonding. Having my brothers and sisters is one of my strength and my inspiration. My parents are my idol. I do believe that God created us for us to have a purpose in life. My purpose in life is to give back all the credit to my family, to love them unconditionally, respect them the way it should be, give all the support I can be and to raise my daughter the way that they raised me. I am grateful and happy to God for the family that I have. Now we all have our own family, I can see how my brothers and sister raise their children in the way that my parents did to us. I’m grateful that my parents always there for us still guiding us and helping us to raise our children. To teach them the value and importance of family. To guide and support in all they do. I cannot live without my family.
We are now in a new generation.Nowadays, families are not as close as in the past and a lot of people have used this. The values that our family taught us is not that tight like before the younger people not use to it. Especially living in the city, everyone in the family is busy in many things that they forgot the value of family. Most people are having to work longer and both parents work. They have no time to spend with each other as they did before. One of the reason is the materialistic and consumer driven culture we are now. Also the modern technology it means that people are more interested in their online life than interacting with their family in their free time.
Before family values are very important, the head of the family is strict when it comes to family bonding, their beliefs, and their culture.Family eat together, go to church together and pray together.Family values teach us how to develop traditionally the foundation of how children grow with respect and GOD fearing. Parents are very supportive of growing their children. Filipino people values are built on traditional, passed to generation to generation. conservative and religious.
Some of the Filipino values may include obtaining knowledge, wisdom, and necessary skills, and using them at home and living out the values you acquired within the family. It engages in developing the Importance of family.
Filipino is known as hospitable, gentle, friendly, kind and loving. We have traditional values, these are, Respect ( po; opo ), Helping Others ( pakikisama ), Debt of Gratitude ( utang na loob), Prioritizing Family ( Pagpapahalaga sa Pamilya ), Shame ( Hiya ).
A big family is like an extended family, it contains Grandparents, parents, children’s, grandchildren, uncles, aunties, cousins and great-grandparents. Filipino stayed longer in their parent’s house even if they have their own family. They lived together and support each other. Surprisingly we survive like that and grown up to be with our relatives, aunties and uncles, grandparents and sister and brothers in one house. We are used to it and happy to have a big member of the family, they are grandparents who are the pillars of the family, they are one that we follow orders and instruction. We are blessed if we live in an extended family because we surrounded with older people who would help and guide us to the right path. We cannot feel empty, lonely, and lost because they are many to talk with and share with are feeling. Even if our parents not there but there are someone who would listen and give an opinion if we needed. Even if we are married we still stay in our family house they are not pushing the couple to find their own house. The older generation want their children, grandchildren to be with them, each member of the family has a role, other help support the younger one through financial assistance, another one is to do the household chores,

Single parents is also a big part of a family. Family supports each other especially to those who needed the most. They don’t let the single parent feel that they alone and no one is beside them. The single parent can work even if they left their children in the home, they feel secure because they know that their family will take good care of their children even if they didn’t there. That’s important to be a part of e the extended family especially to those single parent.
We are different to another country because of the way our family raised up. They teach us the ancient culture, beliefs, ideals and value that passes through generation to generation. Filipino stayed in the family even if they old enough and they have their owned family and work. Filipino are family oriented and devoted. The older generation takes good care of the family they won’t let the younger one comes home late at night.Filipino people, especially the older generation, believe in marriage they let their children to get married before marital relationship exists for the individual. They believe that marriage is a lifetime relationship and it should not be separated. They don’t let a marriage couple file an annulment or divorce because here in the Philippine its not easy to file an annulment or its difficult to file a divorce. While in abroad they can easy file annulment or divorce a person if they feel that they don’t love the person or they could not work their marriage good. Filipino family teaches us to obey to older one, not to lie to everyone, not to steal or hurt others, family teach us also to honor our parents and the older generation, For us, its easy obeying them because we grow with the culture and values of family.
Other country has its own beliefs and value. Some of them let their children have their own if their turn 18. They teach them to be more independent and let them work for their own needs when they turn on the right ages.Other parents struggle by their children because they are stubborn, head headed and opinionated.Children did not listen to their parents and not follow orders and instruction. Other countries get married even if they young and innocent. Family tolerates their children’s to have marital sex even if they young. They don’t care what would happen to young people if they come late at night. In addition, when two couple gets married they move out to their parents and build a home on their own, however other countries support the legal separation, annulment, and divorce by the government.
Family is the most important unit of society. It is the strongest unit made up of families.
